Money is everything in Mafia Wars. You can’t advance to higher levels or buy weapons, property or other items without a nice bank roll. Unfortunately, money is important to every player and everyone is out to get yours. So, not only do you need to learn how to build up your money supply, but you also need to know how to keep a hold of it once you have it.

Low Level Players

For beginners and those players at the lower levels of the game, money is essential to ever becoming a top player. If you are serious about building a large bank account then you need to take some steps to get some cash flowing.

Start by minimizing the amount of money that it going out of your account. Sell off property and items that cost a lot just to keep around.  Remember that you can always buy them back later once you have a good savings of cash.

Do jobs that offer you the highest payout with the lowest energy use. Doing these jobs will help you to get a good cash flow going because you can keep doing the job without running out of energy too fast.

Use your Mafia friends. Assign the highest level Mogul to the Bagman position. What this does is help increase how much money you make on jobs. You can also try to get someone else in your mafia to make you their Bagman, which will help you earn even more money.

Make More Mafia Wars Money

Once you have a good cash flow and you are advancing through the levels, you can start to branch out into other ways to make money. The first thing to do is go out and collect bounties. To do this you have to refer to the hit list, choose a target and go after them.  Remember that to collect the bounty you have to be the player that knock their health to zero. An important thing to do before going bounty hunting is to put all your money in the bank so you don’t risk losing any of it in the fight.

Rackets are another option. Rackets are like an investment. You have to invest 100% of your influence in the racket. When the racket is over you get back your influence plus a bonus, which is often cash. You have to keep an eye on the racket, though. Once it is over you only have a limited time to collect. If you don’t collect on time you lose everything you invested and don’t get the bonus.

Keep The Money You Have

Making money is not the only thing you need to do. You also have to keep other players from stealing your money. Even when you are not playing other players can come in and steal your dough. You can also lose money simply due to bad money management.

Start by watching your upkeep costs. You should never be paying out more than 10% of what you are bringing in. If you have a property or item that is draining your bank account then sell it.

Keep your health low until you need it built up. When your health is at 20 or below other players cannot attack you and steal your money. On that same note, keep your money in the bank to keep it safe.

All of these tips should help you to get more Mafia Wars money and keep the money once you get it. No matter what level you are at in Mafia Wars, you need money, so don’t spend it foolishly or leave it vulnerable to thieves. Protect your money, build it up and master Mafia Wars.
