What is a firebomb: incendiary bomb: a bomb that is intended to start fires; is most effective against flammable targets (such as fuel)

The easiest way to get a Mafia Wars firebomb is as loot in the Soldier job, “Steal a Tanker Truck”. They drop randomly but you can get lucky and find one on a job, since the drop is random, you might have to do a job a number of times to find one.

Getting a firebomb is necessary in order to complete the Enforcer job, “Burn Down a Tenement”. The Mafia Wars firebomb has an attack rating of 4 and a defence rating of 2. Not too impressive but you need it anyway.

Weapons In General

One of the more important parts of Mafia Wars is weapons. The game requires certain weapons for jobs as you progress as well as for fighting, so it is a good idea to arm your family well. The better choices for weapons are those that have a strong attack rating and that you are able to gift to other family members. That way, if one member has a weapon that another needs you can hand it over.

One thing to note about weapons is that several of them have a cash upkeep associated to them. This means that simply by possessing them your bank balance will drop as the upkeep payments are withdrawn. Be sure you maintain a high enough balance to make these payments.

Note: They have removed the upkeep for weapons under the newer version which uses Rackets instead of Property.

How Can You Get Weapons?

There are easy ways and more difficult ways to get weapons in the game.

Getting weapons from your family is just about as easy as it gets. A family member can just gift a weapons to you so that you can use it as part of your inventory. Keeping an extra supply of good weapons will allow you to gift them to other family members when the time comes. The benefit of this is that when a new family member joins you will already have the weapons to supply them with.

Finally, weapons can be purchased if you have enough cash. You can purchase weapons under inventory tab of the game.
