Mafia Wars Defense Rackets

Mafia Wars defense rackets give you no cash, like job rackets and attack rackets, but give you “boosts” instead. Boosts are items you use when you need them that gives you more power, defense or reduces the energy that you use on jobs.

Here are a few of the more important things to know about boosts:

  • You are not able to stack boosts. For example, if a boost gives you a +20 defense bonus you cannot use two of them together to get a +40 defense bonus.
  • Besides getting boosts from rackets, you can buy them or get them from collections.
  • Once you use a boost it is gone from your inventory.
  • They are used automatically.

Each time you shakedown a Mafia Wars defense racket you get 3 boosts, this increases to 4 once you have mastered the racket.

Mafia Wars rackets will all give you 1 experience point when you collect them. The cost and reward in influence you get is the same for each one. You can run a maximum of 20 rackets at a time.
